The Middle School Program at Saint Teresa School equips students with the skills needed for a smooth transition from elementary to high school. Our rigorous, standards-based curriculum fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, cultivating a lifelong love of learning. Electives Middle school students can choose from a range of electives, including Forensic Science, Mandarin Chinese, Introduction to Law, Math Essentials, and Advanced Art, allowing them to explore their interests and develop new skills.
Academic Advising Middle school students receive academic advising to help guide them in selecting the right high school and preparing for their future educational paths. This advising tracks student progress and provides support as needed to ensure academic success.
Service Requirement: As a faith-based community, students participate in theological discussions, weekly Mass, and an annual Lenten retreat, while serving both the school and community through service. Each middle school student is required to complete fifteen hours of community service during the course of the school year. Completion of Service hours is part of the religion grade.
Middle schoolers are encouraged to join extracurricular activities such as sports, drama, robotics, art, and student council, where they develop teamwork, communication, and leadership skills that will benefit them for life.
